Playing Grounds

aren't we all tired of these games we play
tell me, aren't we all?

well someday i'll be
and sooner or later
i'll raise up my hand
to give my surrender

but these games we play
will always remain in our hearts, in our minds
in all that we say
whether wrong or just right
whatever we need, I concede.

aren't we all tired of these games we play
tell me, aren't we all?

there's not much in me
left to consider
i'll wither in time
and won't be remembered

but these games we play
will always remain in our hearts, in our minds
in all that we say
whether wrong or just right
whatever we need, I concede.

aren't we all tired of these games we play
tell me, aren't we all?

until then i'll play along
till the day comes i can't take anymore
of this premature feeling
lost for words or rhythm
to this premature feeling
i've grown with, now i'm letting go.
