stf

(a poem)

Love resonates where hate is deafened,
silenced and muted to as if it has never been spoken
never been heard of
never took the form of hate itself.

Such irony beckons us
beings of morality, just and civilized,
yet never immune
and never the all-knowing.

We fall victim to our own shortcomings
becoming the cause, denying the outcome.
Seekers of compassion?
We are truly stranger than fiction.

A bus ride

(a poem)

On every late mornings
I catch you eye to eye
I'd wish to sit beside you
As a stranger, a passerby

I watch you read your handbook
As the journey starts to end
I wonder what it'll take
To make that barrier bend.

Mountain

(a poem)

I could only stare at awe
At something bigger than my ego
Even from a distance, where I stood
You overshadow all existence

To scale your entire mass
A feat I'll have to pass
For I am but a mortal
Yet here you are, built to last

I envy you but with pity
For eternity have had you blessed
But I know time can be a prison
Held by bars of loneliness

Still birds fly above you
And behind you, the rising sun
Below life embrace you
Taking from you what they can.

Pisay

(a poem)

a playground for thoughts to wander
through its halls, dreams chasing even more dreams
sit on its steps to ponder
the wonders awaiting, waiting to be seen

share me your secrets
secrets that i shall keep
Pisay in everlasting
thoughts that never sleep.

First week of May

(a poem)

On the first week of May
I saw skies of gray
Remediable to consciousness
But with willingness to stay

As nights holds certain
The end of each days
I lose more memories
Or regrettable yesterdays

Like on the first week of May
Please be gentle today
This heart is more fragile now
Than how it was yesterday

And on the next time we face
May it not resurface
The scar of what's left of me
Still bitter, foul to taste.

A Separated Mind

Learning to live today
try it again tomorrow
life has always been this way

never give up a fight
yearn for something better
while listening to what they say

but dont be confined into an ordinary life
when you can dream, you can be anything
live out your desires
piece together the puzzles in our lives
let alone you dont get anything
but riddles from a separated mind

harvest the light of day
whisper to stars at night
living should always be this way
free the heart of sorrow
forget about tomorrow
but listen to what they say.
