Mute

Opinions differ from one person to another
Share it with a friend as you stroll by the sidewalk
And at the day’s end you’ll take home more thoughts to launder

Such is the curse of man, to bring news to his fellow
If only what he says is truth than mere gossips, so shallow

Whispers behind your back are more hurtful when they attack
Turn your head around, and the stabber makes contact

Like taking a fragile mind to exile in a hostile place
When it comes back home to its host
No longer does it have a care to the rest of the human race.
